I'm going to write this out as a list at first so that we can all add our own favourites etc. I'm sure there's loads of techniques out there that I've never heard of. Feel free to add to the list and expand on anything I've mentioned too. I'd like this to become a sort of energy terms & definitions reference section.
I've noticed that many techniques can be used as a means to an end or as a solo focused exercise for practise, affirmation, etc. All can be used to further knowledge (every action causes reaction). Some are ways of focusing energy, some for projecting energy and some for gathering energy in for all different reasons.

There's also healing energy, such as Reiki, laying on of hands, spiritual healing, healing poppets etc.
